Leonie Hanne OHH COUTURE

Triumph exclusively partners with Leonie Hanne to showcase Autumn/Winter 2016 collection

When it comes to fashion, Leonie Hanne of Ohh Couture knows the importance of matching lingerie to any outfit. We discuss her favorite pieces from our Autumn/Winter '16 collection and her top tips on how to style them.

As a woman, a great bra can make or break an outfit

Why are you partnering with Triumph for Autumn/Winter16?
I’ve previously collaborated with Triumph and love the brand! Lingerie is something which is very intimate – a very special product that you just wear for yourself. Therefore, you really have to love your lingerie, which is why I stay loyal to a brand once I find a style and design I love. Triumph is a brand I have loved for years; it’s a brand with 130 years’ experience in designing lingerie for all shapes, sizes and styles - ultimately helping all of us ladies to ‘Find the One’ perfectly fitting bra. As soon as I saw the A/W16 collection and I absolutely wanted to share them with my followers!

Talk us through why you chose your favorite A/W16 pieces from the Triumph shoot and why you love them?
It was so difficult to choose! My favorites from the A/W16 Amourette 300 series were the electric twilight blue soft-touch Magic Wire and the dust toned wired bra. So lacey and delicate. I felt super feminine and cute in these. Triumph’s soft-touch Magic Wire means the bras are very comfortable and fit well, so it is a piece you can wear every time, everyday, which is what I love most about the lingerie.

I was surprised that I fell in love with the Magic Boost range, especially the mud grey Lift-up and mars red Enchanted Magic Boost Push-up bra. I don’t tend to wear shapewear that enhances my bust as I am already curvy but these made me look and feel fantastic.

How important is lingerie to you when creating an outfit?
Lingerie is very important when creating an outfit - even though most of the time you can see only a small part or nothing of the lingerie, it’s about how it makes you feel.

As a woman a great bra can make or break an outfit – from the shape or fit to just feeling more confident when supported properly.

What I love about Triumph is they have a really great understanding of all different body shapes and sizes so all women can find the perfect foundation to any outfit – every day or special occasion.

What do you love most about the iconic Amourette series?

I love how feminine, soft and romantic the Amourette 300 is. It’s such an icon! I can’t believe the original design was from the 50s as it’s so fresh and contemporary. I love to wear the lace bras and panties – the fabric feels beautiful against my skin and it’s so flattering as it skims the hips and sits so well on my figure. The all-over lace of the t-shirt bra is really beautiful and surprisingly smooth under clothing – it’s designed so cleverly to look great dressed and undressed. The Amourette 300 wired bra in Dust and the wired padded bra in Strawberry are my favorites for A/W16.

How do you style the Amourette 300 series to create an on trend everyday look for A/W?

I love to style the Amourette 300 series with chunky knit pieces or cashmere sweaters that are off the shoulder or have a deep ‘V’. So you can show a hint of lace with a wintry fabric - it’s such a great contrast - both sexy and feminine but also cosy, which is a lovely mixture. Pair the top with a great pair of jeans or striped trousers with an ankle boot or flat and of course, a warm and stylish classic coat.

What were your favorite catwalk trends from A/W16 that you’d like to wear for the festive season?

Velvet, velvet, velvet! Dresses, shoes, trousers, tops. I just loved how velvet was used on the runway. Wearing velvet can be a little challenging though as it clings to the figure. The high-waist Magic Boost panty shapes the tummy so if you feel a little self-conscious, they are your secret party trick to looking amazing.
